Alexandria, VA | Part-Time | In-Office | 1099 Independent ContractorMental Map to Wellness™ Build a Caseload. Develop Specialized Skills. Grow as a Clinician. Mental Map to Wellness™ is a therapy practice built differently. We help clients create meaningful behavioral change through a structured, evidence-informed approach focused on capacity, agency, alignment, and integration. We are seeking a therapist who wants to build a therapy caseload focused on ADHD, anxiety, trauma, executive functioning, and related concerns while developing additional expertise in substance use assessment, ASAM evaluations, and relapse prevention treatment. This role is designed for a clinician who enjoys therapy work but is interested in expanding their clinical skill set beyond traditional outpatient counseling. Primary ResponsibilitiesTherapy Services Provide outpatient therapy services for: ADHD Anxiety Depression Trauma Life transitions Executive functioning challenges Substance Use Services Receive training and support to provide: ASAM Evaluations Substance Use Assessments Relapse Prevention Counseling Outpatient Substance Use Treatment No prior ASAM experience is required. We are willing to train the right clinician. Typical rates include:
Intake Evaluations:
$60•65
Individual Therapy Sessions:
$50•55 per clinical hour Substance Use Treatment /
Relapse Prevention Sessions:
$50•60 per clinical hour
ASAM Evaluations:
$100 per completed evaluation This role is designed as a hybrid clinical position, allowing clinicians to build a therapy caseload while developing specialized skills in substance use assessment, ASAM evaluations, and relapse prevention treatment. Schedule Clinicians typically begin with approximately 5-10 clinical hours per week Opportunity to grow caseload over time Evening and/or weekend availability preferred In-office position located in Alexandria, Virginia Flexible scheduling with autonomy over availability 1099 Independent Contractor position Availability Requirement Must be available to work in-office at least one day per week.
