If you answered "yes" to these questions, the Therapist Part-Time position at our campuses in Joplin, MO may be a perfect fit for you. You would be providing individual, family and group therapy to youth in state custody due to abuse/neglect in our residential programs, Family Foster Care Program, Treatment Family Care Program, and other clients as assigned.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Develop positive relationships with clients and team members Facilitate initiation of care Conduct therapeutic assessments, treatment plans, and treatment progress reports Manage crisis intervention as needed and provide referrals for community resources Support the Agency's trauma-informed model, Trust-Based Relational Intervention Therapy is provided in person (in-office or in-home) in most instances, but can be virtual as needed Perks of this position: Flexible schedule with more flexibility during summer months Some work from home allowed Mileage reimbursement or use of agency vehicle • Initial and on-going training in trauma-informed care and other subjects pertinent to job Excellent supervisory support from Clinical Services Director Access to counseling session spaces on campus Opportunity for In Home Counseling sessions with clients Case Load Provided - No client sourcing required

Qualifications:

Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) required or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) are currently eligible for licensing in the State of Missouri Minimum of two year relevant counseling experience required Training and experience in trauma-related counseling and crisis intervention
