Job Description

What You'll Do Counselors at Hazel Pittman Center provide comprehensive outpatient services for adults and/or youth experiencing substance use disorders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic clinical setting and enjoys working directly with people to support meaningful recovery. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based approaches Complete intakes, assessments, orientations, and individualized treatment plans Deliver case management, crisis intervention, and ongoing clinical support Collaborate and network with referral sources, agencies, and community partners Connect patients with appropriate resources, services, and self-help supports Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records that meet all regulatory requirements Prepare and process required reports and documentation Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and interagency staffing Provide education and training on substance use disorders and related topics Uphold all federal and state standards for patient privacy and confidentiality What We're Looking For Master's degree required in counseling, social work, or related field Professional counseling or social work license strongly preferred Must obtain Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification within three (3) years of hire Strong clinical judgment, organization skills, and a patient-centered approach.
