Chemical Dependency Counselor
LCDC 20/HR
- LCDC-I with (4,000 hours) 18/hr Abundance Living Inc.
Full Job Description Hours :
Monday and Friday, 9 am- 5 pm. Tuesday and Wednesday, 1 pm
- 9 pm. Thursday, 2 pm
- 10 pm. Rotating Saturday, 8 am
- 4 pm. Call or text Mr. Pottinger at 346-946-1589 if interested in the position. If Mr. Pottinger does not pick up the phone, send a text message.
- Must pass a TDCJ background check; no felonies, 15-year-old misdemeanors, or open warrants.
- Performs substance abuse and mental health counseling work with adult Ex-Offender clients in a residential treatment setting.
- Counselor's duties include but are not limited to screening assessment, individual/group counseling, and treatment planning.
- Responsible for servicing primary caseload along with other clients as assigned.
