Position Overview As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their recovery journey through individual counseling, group facilitation, assessments, case management, advocacy, and crisis intervention. Schedule Full-Time | Up to 40 Hours Per Week Monday -

Friday:

5:00 AM - 1:00 PM This schedule offers the unique advantage of having most afternoons available while still maintaining full-time employment. What You'll Do Clinical Services Facilitate engaging and effective group counseling sessions Provide individualized counseling tailored to each client's recovery goals Conduct substance use assessments and screenings using approved tools Perform intake assessments and program orientation services Develop and maintain treatment plans and clinical documentation Deliver psychoeducational programming related to substance use disorders and recovery Client Advocacy & Support Connect clients with appropriate levels of care and community resources Advocate for individualized treatment and client-centered services Coordinate care with internal staff, therapists, medical providers, and outside agencies Provide crisis intervention services when needed Support successful transitions throughout the continuum of care Program Development Assist in implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to enhance client outcomes and service delivery What We're Looking For Required Current Utah SUDC License Strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment and recovery principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Professionalism, integrity, and strong ethical standards Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Preferred Previous addiction counseling experience
