New York Community Care is Seeking a passionate Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) for our Virgina satellite office. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated counselor to provide exceptional care to individuals overcoming substance use disorders in a supportive and collaborative treatment environment.

What You'll Do:

Conduct substance use assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family counseling Facilitate psychoeducational and relapse prevention groups Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment professionals Support clients throughout their recovery journey from admission through discharge planning Promote a culture of hope, dignity, and accountability Qualifications ✔ Active Virginia CSAC credential (required) ✔ Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or recovery services preferred ✔ Strong documentation and communication skills ✔ Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations ✔ Passion for helping individuals reclaim their lives from addiction What We Offer ✅ Competitive salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 based on experience ✅ Paid time off and holidays ✅ Supportive clinical leadership and team environment Why Join Us?
