Join Our Team! New Beginning Counseling & Therapy Services, LLC is a DBHDS-licensed behavioral health provider committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based substance use treatment services. We are seeking a motivated Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-Supervisee) to join our growing clinical team and help clients achieve lasting recovery. This is an excellent opportunity to receive clinical supervision while gaining experience in a professional, team-oriented environment providing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services. Responsibilities Provide individual and group substance use counseling under approved clinical supervision. Facilitate psychoeducational and evidence-based recovery groups. Assist in completing client screenings, assessments, and treatment planning. Develop and review relapse prevention and recovery plans. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record (KIPU). Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention. Coordinate referrals and discharge planning as appropriate. Maintain compliance with

DBHDS, DMAS, HIPAA, 42 CFR

Part 2, and agency policies. Attend required supervision sessions and staff meetings.

Qualifications Required:

Active Virginia CSAC-Supervisee registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Commitment to ethical, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care.

Preferred:

Experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and person-centered treatment planning.
