Join Community Skills Program® (CSP), a division of Success Rehabilitation, Inc. For more than 40 years, our CARF-accredited program has provided one-on-one, person-centered brain injury rehabilitation. Our mission is to create new opportunities for individuals affected by brain injury - one individual, one family, one Success at a time. Role Overview This is a specialized clinical role providing home- and community-based rehabilitation services to adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI) or other acquired brain injury, helping clients develop skills and use strategies to live as independently as possible. Please note : This is a clinical skill-building role, not a caregiver or home health aide position. Sessions are typically held in person in clients' homes and local communities and address common challenges after brain injury, including: •
Cognitive Functioning:
Improving attention, memory, planning, organization, and problem-solving. •
Daily Routines and Responsibilities:
Managing self-care, household responsibilities, appointments, and tasks. •
Emotional Regulation and Self-Awareness:
Recognizing challenges and developing strategies to manage frustration. •
Community Participation:
Participating safely in community activities. What You Will Do Conduct cognitive rehabilitation therapy sessions in clients' homes and community settings Establish individualized rehabilitation goals and track progress toward outcomes Develop compensatory strategies clients can use for attention, memory, and executive functioning Build communication, problem-solving, and social skills through planned therapeutic activities Complete assessments and progress notes on time Collaborate with the Client Services Liaison and treatment team Work Structure & Ideal Candidate •
Location:
Sessions are typically provided in person in clients' homes and communities. Documentation, training, and meetings may be done remotely. •
The Ideal Candidate:
You are organized, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and interested in helping individuals with brain injury build independence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, rehabilitation, human services, or a closely related field Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to clients' homes and community settings Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience working with individuals with brain injury and/or with adults in human services, behavioral health, education, disability services, or community-based settings Benefits Training and professional development opportunities Paid time off 401(k) Referral program #SussexCounty #BergenCounty #UnionCounty #

This position requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, rehabilitation, human services, or a closely related field. Is your degree in one of these fields? Do you have experience working with adults with brain injury, disabilities, rehabilitation needs, or similar needs through home- and community-based services, rehabilitation, education, behavioral health, or human services work?
