  • Full-time A strong Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Certified Vocational Rehab Counseling Supervisor to lead and inspire a team of vocational rehabilitation professionals.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of comprehensive employment and workforce development services to individuals with disabilities, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive personalized support to achieve meaningful employment, while fostering a collaborative, compliant, and innovative work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of vocational rehabilitation counselors, providing guidance on best practices in employment counseling, assessment, and case management. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized employment plans tailored to clients' unique abilities, interests, and goals. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws, disability regulations, and agency policies. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and professional development training to enhance team skills in areas such as interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and training. Collaborate with community partners, employers, and service providers to expand workforce development opportunities for clients. Lead intake assessments and oversee the interviewing process for new clients seeking vocational rehabilitation services. Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Stay current on best practices related to working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, addiction counseling techniques, social work principles, and workforce development strategies. Qualifications Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential or equivalent certification required. Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to individuals with disabilities. Proven experience working with people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Strong background in addiction counseling, social work practices, or related fields is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in teaching, mentoring, recruiting, training & development within a social service or rehabilitation setting. Excellent interviewing skills combined with the ability to assess client needs accurately. Exceptional leadership qualities with experience supervising or managing teams of rehabilitation professionals. Ability to foster collaborative relationships with community organizations and employers to promote inclusive workforce opportunities.
