Job Description

Redemption Counseling Center exists to bring health and wholeness to the mental well-being of individuals and the community through licensed, professional counselors who are guided by evidence-based care, faith inclusion, and the removal of barriers to accessible mental health care.

$68,000-$78,000 (depending on licensure)

Job Summary:
Provide professional counseling that may include individual, couples, family counseling, with a minimum 50% of caseload being children, families, or couples . Group sessions may also be included. Key Responsibilities- Clinical Duties Maintain a caseload of 28 scheduled sessions/week (maintain 24 attended; 86% utilization) Sessions are 50 minutes in length Complete timely and accurate billing and documentation according to the Employee Handbook, including timely completion of the Initial Intake form after the first session. Prepare for sessions thoughtfully; review notes and apply best practices Follow ethical guidelines and licensing board requirements Return urgent client communication within 24 business hours Close cases in a timely, clinically appropriate manner Consult with medical/clinical providers as needed Participate in supervision with Clinical Supervisor and attend weekly team meetings Develop clinical area of expertise through ongoing professional development and training Other duties as assigned Program Development Attend annual outreach, awareness-raising, or fundraising events. Other duties as assigned Metrics & Performance Expectations (Subject to Change) 70% retention rate (excluding intake-only clients) 86% weekly utilization (goal: 24 sessions/week and scheduling 28/week) Responsive communication (24 hrs for urgent, 72 hrs for non-urgent) Timeliness of Documentation/Billing Pursues professional development Qualifications- Required Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy Independently or provisionally licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Demonstrated clinical aptitude and a strong fit for the environment/values at Redemption Counseling Center. Demonstrated experience and confidence in working with children and families using developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed methods Cultural & Professional Expectations- Demonstrate strong assessment skills in the physiological, situational, and intra-psychic perspectives relevant to children and families. Desire and ability to integrate client's faith and spirituality into therapeutic practice (where requested and appropriate). Be a racial justice ally, competent in working with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to be collaborative and affirming of other members of the Redemption Counseling Center team. Maintain active licensure in the state of Arizona with the Board of Behavioral Health. Exhibit passion for and alignment with Redemption Counseling Center's values.
