Are you creative, energetic, and looking for a job where you can make a real impact every day? We're looking for enthusiastic Youth Counselors to join our growing after-school team! At Adat+ Aftercare, we believe afternoons should be filled with creativity, movement, friendship, and opportunities for children to learn through play. As a Youth Counselor, you'll help create a safe, welcoming environment where elementary-aged students can thrive after the school day ends. Whether you're leading games, facilitating art projects, supporting homework, or simply being a trusted adult, you'll play an important role in each child's day. What You'll Do Supervise and engage groups of TK-6th grade students. Lead recreational activities, games, crafts, and enrichment experiences. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. Encourage kindness, teamwork, and respectful behavior. Ensure student safety while maintaining appropriate staff-to-student ratios. Assist with snack, transitions, attendance, and dismissal procedures. Communicate professionally with coworkers and families. Help keep program spaces organized, clean, and welcoming. We're Looking For Someone Who... Loves working with children. Brings positive energy and enthusiasm each day. Is dependable, responsible, and punctual. Works well as part of a team. Can stay calm and patient during challenging situations. Enjoys being active and participating alongside students. Is eager to learn and grow professionally. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children in schools, camps, childcare, or recreation programs. Minimum age of 18 years. High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in education, child development, psychology, or a related field is a plus). CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass all required background clearances. Schedule Part-time, Monday-Friday Typical program hours:
Monday-Friday:
