Job Summary:

Girls of Transformation Mentoring Program, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, spiritually mature, and experienced Lead Christian Female Mentor to serve adolescent girls in a Christ-centered mentoring environment. The Lead Mentor will provide group instruction, individualized support, spiritual guidance, and positive leadership to help participants overcome challenges, strengthen their confidence, develop essential life skills, and build a strong foundation in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine love for young people, a servant's heart, sound biblical judgment, and the ability to lead with integrity, compassion, wisdom, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Christian Female Mentor will: Lead and supervise a group of up to 20 girls in a structured classroom setting on Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Facilitate monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions with assigned participants. Build meaningful, appropriate, and trusting relationships with youth ages 10-17, who are assigned to separate elementary, middle, and high school classes based on their age and grade level. Provide emotional support, encouragement, guidance, and accountability to help participants overcome challenges and accomplish their goals. Support participants' spiritual growth by incorporating Scripture, prayer, and biblical principles into mentoring activities, as appropriate. Plan and facilitate engaging lessons, workshops, group discussions, activities, and outings that promote faith, teamwork, leadership, character, and personal development. Assist in developing and implementing individualized mentoring goals that address participants' academic, behavioral, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians regarding participants' progress, needs, and concerns. Collaborate with the Executive Director, program staff, parents, teachers, and other authorized individuals to provide comprehensive support to participants. Help maintain a safe, structured, nurturing, and Christ-centered program environment. Maintain accurate attendance records, mentoring notes, progress reports, and other required program documentation. Communicate regularly with the Executive Director regarding participant progress, program activities, incidents, and areas of concern. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and youth-safety standards. Serve as a positive Christian role model whose speech, conduct, appearance, and interactions reflect the mission and values of the organization. Perform other mentoring and program-related responsibilities as assigned.

Christian Faith Qualifications:

The successful candidate must: Demonstrate a mature, active, and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Support and uphold the Christian mission, vision, biblical values, and Statement of Faith of Girls of Transformation Mentoring Program, Inc. Model Christlike character, integrity, humility, compassion, accountability, and servant leadership in both personal and professional conduct. Demonstrate the ability to integrate biblical principles into mentoring, youth development, leadership instruction, and daily program activities. Be comfortable encouraging participants through Scripture, prayer, and biblically grounded guidance. Exercise sound biblical judgment and help foster a Christ-centered environment for youth, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Maintain personal conduct consistent with the responsibilities of serving as a Christian mentor and spiritual role model.

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree At least five years of experience working with youth, preferably in mentoring, education, counseling, ministry, or youth development. Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to establish appropriate trust and rapport with youth and their families. Strong classroom-management, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Dependability, punctuality, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced program environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to pass a Level II background screening and satisfy all applicable youth-safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in youth development, education, social work, counseling, ministry, psychology, or a related field. Previous experience leading group mentoring sessions, youth ministry activities, or classroom-based programming. Experience working with youth who face academic, social, behavioral, economic, or family-related challenges. Experience developing mentoring goals, documenting participant progress, and communicating with parents or guardians.

Mandatory Training and Orientation:

The selected candidate must be available to attend: Mandatory three-hour staff training on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 3:00pm. Mandatory parent orientation on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 3:00pm.

Program Schedule:

The 12-week Saturday program will operate from October 17, 2026, through January 2, 2027.

Saturdays:

9:00am - 2:00pm.

Weekdays:

Approximately 10 flexible hours per week; schedule varies based on mentoring one on one sessions. Approximately 15 hours per week.
