https://bgc.semtribe.com/ We're looking for a full-time Counselor to work on-site Monday through Friday with kids ages 5 to 17 years old. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am to 7pm. Wednesdays is 9am to 6pm. When there is no school such as breaks and teacher planning, the schedule is 9am to 6pm. The Brighton Reservation is located at 50 Harney Pond RD, Okeechobee, Florida 34974 Position Summary This position is responsible for assisting in implementing an inclusive and varied Developmental Program(s) for youth of the Seminole Tribal Community. Implements daily recreational activities; tutors and assists children individually or in small groups in order to help them complete homework assignments or projects and reinforces learning concepts. This position is immediately responsible for the youth's safety and participation. The incumbent in this position is committed to the mission, vision, and values of STOF through ethical conduct, community stewardship, individual initiative and responsive service.Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum one (1) year of experience working with youth population preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly preferred. Must possess a valid FL Driver's License. Must demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and youth. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.Pay:
$18.00- $19.
