Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC)

  • Part-time, Full-time, Contract Georgia Behavioral Health is a growing, mission-driven psychiatric practice in Norcross, GA led by Dr.
Neha Khurana, MD, an Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor in Psychiatry 2025 and 2026. We take a holistic, whole-person approach to mental health care and we're looking for a therapist who shares that philosophy. We are seeking a compassionate LAPC with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families. Clinical supervision toward full LPC licensure is provided. This role is a great fit if you: Have experience or strong interest working with children and adolescents Are trained in CBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, or similar modalities Are mission-driven and want your work to genuinely matter Thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment Are culturally competent and affirming of diverse backgrounds and family structures
Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults Support families through the therapeutic process Collaborate with our psychiatric team for integrated care Maintain accurate clinical documentation Participate in team meetings and case consultations
Requirements:
Active LAPC license in Georgia (required) Experience or strong clinical interest in child and family therapy Strong communication and collaboration skills We offer: Clinical supervision toward full LPC licensure Collaborative team with a board-certified psychiatrist on staff Flexible scheduling Supportive, mission-aligned practice culture
