Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We're on a mission to champion what's best for each child and family. As a Crisis Youth Care Specialist , you'll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities would include Supervising and Implementing behavior management techniques and de-escalation by providing direct support, mentorship and supervision to the youth in the short-term Crisis Stabilization program. In short, our CSRS Youth Care Specialist will serve as a vital advocate and support system for children and adolescents experiencing mental health crises . Here's who we are looking for… Someone who: Requires Associate's degree or higher Has a positive and reliable work ethic Holds experience working with children and families Knowledge of childcare practices, developmental issues, and group process Understanding of theory and practices for emotionally dysregulated children Ability to handle crises and work with children and youth experiencing emotional or behavioral disorders
