8/16/2024 About the Role When youth experience a behavioral health crisis, they require focused, compassionate, and skilled support. As a Youth Crisis Center Clinician, you will provide crisis stabilization and therapeutic intervention to youth in immediate behavioral health need. Your role centers on building healthy relationships, teaching coping and social skills, providing assessments, delivering counseling, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure stabilization and safe discharge planning. This position includes completing initial assessments, providing crisis counseling, facilitating individual, group, and family sessions, coordinating with service providers, maintaining timely documentation, using de-escalation techniques, and identifying discharge goals. You will work closely with a supportive crisis team dedicated to rapid stabilization and youth safety. Responsibilities Complete initial assessments and crisis evaluations Provide individual, group, and family counseling Use evidence-based de-escalation and crisis-intervention strategies Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation Identify discharge goals and coordinate follow-up care Support youth in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving abilities Required Qualifications Licensed in Idaho as LMSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT Knowledge and application of psychological theories Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting through ID DHW Meets all mandated health requirements Compliance with drug-free workplace standards and agency policies Compensation & Benefits Part-Time - up to 29hrs per week $27 - $28 per hr Sign on
