Job Description

Wolverine Human Services is seeking a passionate, licensed Therapist to join our residential treatment team working with youth. This role is ideal for clinicians who are committed to trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and making a lasting impact in the lives of young people and families . As a Therapist, you will provide individual, group , support treatment planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to guide youth toward stability and successful reintegration into their communities. Why Join Wolverine Human Services Meaningful, mission-driven work with at-risk youth Collaborative and supportive clinical team Opportunity to grow clinical skills in trauma-informed and CBT-based care Exposure to residential treatment and family systems work Ongoing training and professional development Key Responsibilities Provide individual, and group therapy , using CBT and trauma-informed approaches Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and safety plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (courts, agencies, families) Ensure compliance with state licensing, accreditation, and agency standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making Support youth through behavioral interventions and skill development Act as a mandated reporter in accordance with Michigan law
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field Current Michigan licensure (LMSW, LPC, LLP, etc.) Experience with youth, families, or residential treatment settings Strong understanding of CBT, trauma-informed care, and behavior modification techniques
Preferred:
Experience in residential or juvenile justice settings Knowledge of family court systems and community-based services Experience with family reintegration and case management What We're Looking For Clinicians who are compassionate, adaptable, and resilient Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work with diverse populations and complex cases Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care
