Job Description

The Madison Area YMCA is seeking Kids Central Instructors. Kids Central Instructors play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children! Welcome and engage with parents during child drop-off and pick-up, providing friendly and professional customer service. Supervise children using the Kids Central play structure to ensure a safe and positive experience. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, play, and social interaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Kids Central space, including equipment, toys, books, and activity materials. Assist with the planning and facilitation of Kids Central enrichment programs and special activities. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, following YMCA policies and procedures.
Supervision of Youth:
Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth. Attend required abuse risk management training. Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth. Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations. Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
