Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Counselor to support our Community Enrichment Programs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about youth development, sports, and education. The Counselor will work directly with students, assisting in beginner Red Ball Tennis tennis drills, fitness exercises, and mentorship activities to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage youth in structured tennis activities, assisting with beginner-level drills and gameplay Provide individualized encouragement and guidance, ensuring all students participate and progress Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere that fosters skill development and personal growth. Observe and communicate student progress or challenges to program leaders. Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with youth in sports, education, or recreational settings is preferred. Knowledge of or willingness to learn new drills and curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate youth. Passion for working with underserved communities and supporting youth development. Ability to follow structured curriculum while adapting to student needs. Must pass a background check and attend required virtual training sessions. Reliable, punctual, and flexible—able to work afternoon and/or weekend shifts Why Join Us?
