Responsibilities Supervise children during club activities, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times Facilitate a wide range of youth programs, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Maintain a safe environment by following first aid protocols and being prepared to respond to medical emergencies with CPR or AED operation if needed Support children's developmental needs by applying childhood development principles and special education techniques when appropriate Collaborate with team members to plan age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children's progress or concerns Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as camps, childcare centers, youth programs, or tutoring is highly desirable Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors positively Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation is required; ongoing training provided if necessary Knowledge of childhood development theories and special education practices is a plus Experience facilitating youth group activities or outdoor work enhances your ability to succeed in this role Excellent child supervision skills combined with patience, enthusiasm, and a caring attitude Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities Previous theater experience or involvement in youth development programs can be beneficial Join us as a Club Kid Counselor where every day is an opportunity to inspire joy, foster growth, and create lasting memories for children!
