Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Engagement Coordinator to inspire and empower young people through engaging programs and meaningful interactions aligning with the Successful Futures Initiative. In this role, you will develop, organize, and oversee activities that foster personal growth, teamwork, and community involvement among youth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive environment where children and adolescents feel supported, motivated, and connected. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging youth programs that promote personal development, teamwork, and community service. Manage classroom or activity spaces to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively. Collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners to tailor activities that meet the diverse needs of children and teens. Maintain detailed records of attendance, participation, and progress reports. Teaching evidence based curriculum in both group and individual settings. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational, childcare, camp, or recreational settings is a plus. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt activities for children with diverse learning styles or special needs. Passion for working with children and fostering their growth through creative programming. From $34,000.00 per year
