Job Description
Direct Care Youth Mentor - Come work at a fun and rewarding job! At AYS you will work with troubled youth in a residential treatment setting (group home). Our mission is to help youth cultivate personal growth and hope through building and enhancing healthy relationships. A typical work day at AYS can include off-site school attendance at a local high school, on-site activities (board games, video games, basketball, therapy sessions, etc) and off-site activities such as hiking, bowling, fishing, rec center, movies, etc... As a staff you will build rapport and engage with the youth in fun and meaningful ways as you model good behavior and help youth grow and make healthy changes in their lives. Supervise, mentor, and help aid adolescent males with various issues in a clinical treatment setting. Hours- AYS provides 24/7 supervision of youth on both weekdays and weekends. Days are broken into 3 shifts; Day shift (7am-3pm), Swing shift (3pm-11pm), and Graveyard shift (11pm-7am). We offer both part-time and full-time positions. Days/hours vary. •
