Wisconsin Community Services (WISCS.org) seeks a Youth Treatment Specialist in our Community & Social Services department. In this role, you'll support at-risk youth through individualized treatment plans, life-skills coaching, and crisis intervention. You'll collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to promote stability, resilience, and positive outcomes. Responsibilities Provide daily supervision, mentoring, and support to youth in community-based treatment programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Build trusting, professional relationships with youth based on respect, consistency, and positive role modeling. Implement individualized treatment and behavior support plans under the direction of clinical or program supervisory staff. Facilitate skills-building activities focused on social-emotional learning, coping strategies, independent living skills, and prosocial decision-making. Support youth in school attendance, vocational activities, and community engagement, including transportation as needed. Respond calmly and appropriately to crisis situations, using approved de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to maintain safety. Accurately document daily observations, incidents, progress notes, and required reports in a timely and confidential manner. Collaborate with counselors, case managers, educators, families, and community partners to coordinate consistent supports for each youth. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and trainings to continually improve service quality and outcomes. Advocate for youth needs and strengths, reinforcing their voice and choice within program expectations and community standards. Uphold agency policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulations related to youth services and confidentiality.
