Ideal candidates should have:

A valid LMSW or LCSW in New Mexico. An active PED credential as a School Social Worker in New Mexico. Experience supporting high school-aged youth in a school setting. Strong skills in both individual and small group counseling. Demonstrated experience in case management and crisis intervention. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing direct social-emotional support to students through counseling (both individual and small group). Managing a diverse caseload with thorough documentation. Collaborating actively with educators, families, and community providers. Leading and assisting with crisis response and intervention strategies. Advocating for students and ensuring access to appropriate services and resources. In this role, compensation ranges from $35/hr to $40/hr.
