Social Worker Springville, UT 84663 Job Summary School Social Worker The School Social Worker supports students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by providing counseling, intervention services, and connections to school and community resources. This position works collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to help create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support for students experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, or family-related challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to support student success Assist in developing intervention plans and behavioral supports Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and services Support attendance improvement, crisis response, conflict resolution, and student wellness initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements Participate in student support meetings, IEP/504 meetings, and multidisciplinary teams as appropriate Promote positive school climate and student well-being

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field preferred Appropriate state licensure/certification as required Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with students and families
