Children first is hiring a full-time Social Worker to provide individualized care to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities may include:

Performing comprehensive assessments, providing regular individual and group counseling, ensuring treatment plans are current, completing comprehensive progress notes, working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Primary responsibilities:

Traveling from Redding and Red Bluff. The social worker is responsible for the case management of a designated caseload of children from ages 0-17. Conduct assessment; develop an Appraisal, Needs, and Services Plan for each youth. Provide case management, advocacy, and linkage to services. Have professional writing skills to provide file documentation and write reports. Provide emergency response and be part of an on-call rotation.
