Please note: The salary range above represents this position's earning potential. The anticipated hiring range for this position will be $80,070 to $122,569, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

DHHS, STD/HIV
Program, Client Services Unit is currently recruiting for a personable, flexible, dedicated, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) to join our team. We serve a diverse population of individuals who are HIV positive, seeking medical treatment, and are uninsured or underinsured. The client services unit focus is supporting clients to improve healthcare outcomes and improve access to necessary services. The Social Worker III is an important member of the interdisciplinary team in serving our clients with the primary goal of treatment adherence and retention in medical care. Primary duties and core responsibilities include but are not limited to: Complete the initial bio-psychosocial assessment of needs, with behavioral health screenings. Development of a comprehensive, individualized care plan. Continuous client monitoring to assess the efficacy of the care plan. Complete the bio-psychosocial reassessment with care plan update. Conduct treatment adherence counselling. Facilitate timely, coordinated access to core medical services and support services. Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences focused on care coordination and review of client services/needs. Bilingual applicants in the Spanish/English languages are encouraged to apply . If the candidate selected for this position possesses multilingual skills, they will be required to successfully pass an examination assessing oral communication, reading comprehension, and interpreting skills. For Advanced proficiency, the candidate must also pass an examination requiring translating text from Spanish to English and vice versa.
Education :
Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university that meets the criteria of graduate social work program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Experience:
Two (2) years, to include a minimum 3,000 hours of professional experience rendering social work services under the supervision of a LCSW-C in accordance with Maryland Board requirements.

LICENSE:
Must be licensed as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical - LCSW-C by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners prior to appointment.
Note:
There will be no substitutions for this requirement. Possession and maintenance at all times of a valid Class C (or equivalent) driver's license from the applicant's state of residence when required for job-related duties
Medical Protocol:
This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment medical evaluation, which includes a physical examination and drug screening. The applications of those individuals meeting the minimum qualifications will be reviewed to determine the extent, relevancy of training, and experience in the following areas: Experience working in a healthcare setting, clinic, or medical facility Experience completing bio-psychosocial assessments, behavioral health screenings, and individualized care plans Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) for documentation and client service tracking Experience collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of social workers, medical providers, case managers, and behavioral health staff Experience providing social work or supportive services to HIV-positive individuals Bilingual ability in Spanish
