We have grown significantly over the past few years and have developed a position to help us expand our manufacturing capabilities. This is a salaried position requiring expertise in soldering, assembly processes, compliance with J-STD standards, emphasizing safety, quality, and reliability. Responsibilities Perform precise hand soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) following J-STD standards, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering techniques. Prepare components and soldering surfaces, ensuring proper cleaning, flux application, and material selection for optimal solder joint integrity. Reading and understanding values of components. Inspect and test solder joints using industry standards to verify adherence to quality and reliability specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PCB assembly, soldering processes, and wiring components. Assemble and modify wiring harnesses and electrical components with high accuracy. Rotate through various assembly and soldering operations to support production goals. Use precision measuring tools or equipment (ie. voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, or calipers). Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to streamline assembly processes and enhance product quality. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to company and industry safety protocols. Document processes, adjustments, and troubleshooting steps to ensure accurate records and continuous improvement. As this is our primary hire for the expanded manufacturing business, success in this position will bring further opportunities for growth and responsibility along with compensation to match.. Qualifications Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to access to export-controlled information. High School Diploma or GED required. Soldering certification or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in PCB hand soldering and assembly manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills Has analytical and problem-solving abilities Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electronics. Qualifications Continued Ability to perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing Comfortable working with small parts and precision work Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to communicate clearly with team members Compensation This is a Salary Position…with a compensation range of $35,000 to $50,000 annually based on experience and certifications Healthcare benefits paid for employees, with option for family coverage Vision and Dental insurance are available Paid vacation and holidays Allowable 401K enrolment after 9 months of continue employment
