Job Summary As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for curating and delivering an exceptional wine experience that enhances each guest's dining journey. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests and staff, guiding wine selections, maintaining the wine program, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Curate and maintain the restaurant's wine program, including selection, organization, and inventory Provide thoughtful wine recommendations tailored to guest preferences and menu offerings Educate guests and staff on wine varietals, regions, pairings, and tasting notes Ensure proper storage, handling, and service of wine according to standards Collaborate with culinary and service teams to enhance overall guest experience Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and service Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns with professionalism and warmth Communicate effectively with management regarding wine inventory, trends, and guest feedback Complete all side work and administrative tasks as assigned Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service required Prior experience as a Sommelier or in a wine-focused service role preferred Sommelier certification (CMS, WSET, or equivalent) preferred Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills required Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively Active TABC Certificate required High School Diploma or equivalent required
