  • As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will: + Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records + Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies + Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff + Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions •Schedule•: + 40 hours per week + 11:00 am•9:30 pm + 3:00 pm•1:30 am occasional coverage + On call•emergent cases only and holidays + Every 6th weekend •General Requirements•: Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following: + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) + Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) + Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS) If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.
+ ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted + Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment) + Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter. + Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!
