Sonographer - UT Jamestown ED

Special Imaging Technologist for CT and XRAY for the Freestanding ED in Fentress County Operation of CT and XRAY equipment. Produces computerized tomographic (CT) images of designated anatomical areas as directed and according to established departmental practices and procedures. Assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using appropriate CT equipment. Understands and can function fully with post processing of images on PACS equipment. Qualifications 6 months - 1 year Required Six months to one year related experience and/or training. Able to oftain CT Certification within two years of employment. Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
