Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Banquet Manager this Team Member's duties include serving VIP guests, ensuring a positive guest experience, while maintaining the extraordinary service standards of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Interact and service VIP guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere utilizing the guest's name when possible to build rapport and create a memorable experience building guest loyalty. The ability to handle extra duties as assigned by management to ensure VIP guests receives a superior level of service.
GUEST SERVICE STANDARDS
Treat Guests with a sense of caring and individuality while effectively identifying their specific needs Inform Supervisor of Guest needs which may require special accommodations Show special recognition of frequent Guests Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all times Consistently welcome Guests, thank them for their patronage, seek ways to make them comfortable and express the desire to have them return Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform Guests
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to the bar area, as well as serving guests and servers according to established policies. This individual must project a professional appearance and demeanor while presenting an image of excitement, enthusiasm and fun, to provide our guests with the ultimate entertainment experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED is required, as well as a certificate in Mixology. Minimum of two (2) years in high volume bartending. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities. Must have ability to balance cash drawer at end of shift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise
