Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef, where your passion for food and leadership will elevate our dining experience to new heights! In this vital role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Your expertise in fast paced, high volume food production, and team management will inspire excellence across all culinary endeavors. Duties Assist the Executive Chef in supervising kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, to ensure smooth shift operations Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and safety Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, controlling stock levels, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen stations Support menu planning and development for various service types such as fine dining, catering, and banquets Manage shift schedules and coordinate staffing to meet service demands efficiently Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment conducive to high-quality food production and safety standards Skills Proven experience in environments with strong culinary skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams with effective leadership qualities Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments or special menu needs Expertise in inventory control, food management systems, and cost control strategies Skilled in food service management including catering operations and restaurant experience Excellent team management abilities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering collaboration Strong understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and HACCP principles Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently within a fast-paced hospitality setting Experience with banquet service, event catering, and shift management is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your leadership fuels exceptional dining experiences!
