Job Description

We're looking for a driven, organized, and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join the leadership team at The Junction. The Junction is an upscale, chef-driven restaurant focused on refined New England cuisine with Southern influence, fresh seafood, handcrafted pastas, elevated comfort food, and a strong culture of hospitality. This is a leadership position for someone who: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen Leads by example and earns respect through consistency Has strong communication and organizational skills Understands systems, prep execution, cleanliness, and accountability Wants to grow with an ambitious and evolving restaurant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in leading daily kitchen operations Support and uphold food quality and consistency standards Manage prep systems, line execution, and service flow Help oversee ordering, inventory, and food cost control Train and develop kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional standards Work closely with ownership and Chef leadership on menu execution and operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sous chef or kitchen leadership experience required Strong line cooking and expo experience Ability to lead a team during high-volume service Professional attitude with attention to detail Weekend and holiday availability required
