Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your leadership and culinary expertise will help maintain our commitment to excellence, fine dining standards, and innovative menu offerings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while managing daily kitchen activities in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and creativity, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff during service shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations Oversee food production processes, including inventory control, food handling, and waste management to optimize efficiency and minimize costs Assist in menu planning and development to introduce new dishes that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas Coordinate with the dietary department for special dietary requests or restrictions, ensuring accurate and safe meal preparation Manage kitchen inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and monitor stock rotation to prevent shortages or spoilage Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume restaurants with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Supervising experience in a culinary setting, demonstrating leadership skills and team management capabilities Knowledge of banquet catering, event food service, and catering operations is highly desirable Familiarity with inventory management systems, food safety protocols, and dietary accommodations Strong cooking skills across various cuisines with an emphasis on quality presentation and flavor balance Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shift responsibilities efficiently Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is a plus Passion for the food industry with a commitment to hospitality excellence and continuous learning Join us as we craft memorable dining experiences through innovative cuisine and dedicated teamwork.
