Spanish-English Dual Language Teacher Job Description :

The Arcadia School District is seeking innovative educators who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with The Arcadia School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish-English Dual Language educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that supports students in their academic and linguistic growth. This position involves teaching elementary subjects in both Spanish and English to a diverse group of students. This is a permanent, full-time position starting with the 2026-2027 school year.

Spanish-English Dual Language Teacher Key Responsibilites:

Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans in both Spanish and English to include a cross-linguistic connection Foster a positive, equitable, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes bilingualism, biculturalism, and biliteracy. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community to support student success. Integrate culturally relevant materials and resources into the curriculum. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Spanish-English Dual Language Teacher Qualifications:

WI DPI Certification/Licensure at K-6 and/or 1-8 levels. Wisconsin license 1023- Bilingual-Bicultural Education preferred or willingness to obtain Proficiency in both Spanish and English (oral and written). Experience in dual language or bilingual education is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Athletic coaching and extracurricular advising opportunities may also be available.
