Valid California Education Specialist Instructional Credential•Moderate/Severe Disabilities (Extensive Support Needs) or eligibility to be granted credential or permit authorizing teaching of students with Moderate/Severe Disabilities (Extensive Support Needs). 2.
SDC Teacher Mod/Severe:
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential•Mild/Moderate, willingness to apply for a Special Education Limited Assignment Permit in Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) and enroll in classes to obtain Extensive Support Needs authorization. 3. Letter from your University Internship office stating eligibility or University Internship credential with Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position; OR 4. Bachelor's Degree in an academic subject area from an accredited University, meeting California Basic Education Skills requirement (CBEST) and a note/letter expressing interest in applying for this specific position, indicating the commitment to immediately enroll in a University credential program in the area of Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position. School sites are subject to change.
SALARY PLACEMENT
The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification.
