Qualifications & Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Knowledge of IEP processes and state/federal special education regulations Experience working with diverse disabilities and learning challenges Strong communication and collaborative skills for partnering with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to create and implement individualized instructional strategies Organizational skills to manage caseloads, data, and compliance
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and goals Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet varied learning needs Work closely with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices Utilize evidence-based interventions and positive behavior strategies Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements Communicate regularly with families to support student growth and engagement Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuing education
