Positions are available in multiple local schools near Doylestown and the Bucks County area. Teachers will work closely with students from moderate to severe needs, ensuring continuity of learning and support.
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification (or working under Emergency Permit while enrolled in a certification program) Experience with moderate to severe special needs and related behavioral challenges Reliable transportation and current residence within 35 minutes of your assigned school site Ability to commit to all scheduled ESY dates and hours (June 23, 2026 - July 30, 2026, Monday-Thursday) Reference from a current or former supervisor in a Special Education role Understanding of PA Department of Education credentialing processes Strong communication skills and professional commitment to student successResponsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with IEP goals for students during ESY programs Maintain effective classroom management and a positive, supportive learning environment Collaborate with other professionals and families to ensure continuity of care Complete setup and orientation in late June prior to instructional dates Adapt instructional strategies and materials as needed to meet diverse learning needs Track attendance, progress, and keep records in accordance with school guidelines This opportunity provides meaningful summer employment with a supportive network of educators and professionals dedicated to student achievement.
