Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field Experience developing and implementing IEPs Strong understanding of a variety of instructional strategies and interventions Excellent communication and collaborative skills Ability to adapt quickly and remain flexible in a fast-paced school setting Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and needs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student integration and success Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and advocacy for assigned students Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Engage families in the learning process through regular communication and updates This position offers an inspiring opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students.
