Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role as a Special Education Teacher, working full-time in a dynamic educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-12 (state-specific requirements apply) Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field Experience with a variety of instructional techniques to support diverse learners Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families Ability to establish a positive, inclusive classroom culture Previous experience in a school setting preferredKey Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel to foster an inclusive learning environment Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development and challenges Modify curriculum and assessments as needed to address varying abilities and needs Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current on best practices and compliance requirements Make an impact where it matters most—help shape the future for students requiring specialized support.
