Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Holds active and valid Georgia Special Education Teacher certification/licensure Previous experience in school-based special education settings is especially valued Demonstrated strength in classroom management and teamwork with general education colleagues Able to commit to a full-time schedule throughout the academic year Excellent organization for documentation and IEP compliance
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality specialized instruction and interventions, aligned with students' IEPs Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support professionals to meet student needs Engage in effective classroom management and maintain thorough records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to case management as needed Uphold a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere to promote student learning and growth This is a full-time, onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the 2026/2027 academic year. Caseload and specific assignments will be determined prior to the start date.
