Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Passionate about supporting students and making a real impact in their academic journey? This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide exceptional instruction and individualized support in a collaborative school environment near Montpelier, VT. As a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis, you'll work closely with a diverse team of educators and specialists to develop and implement student-centered Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Your expertise will empower learners with differing abilities, helping them achieve their fullest potential both academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification in Special Education, or eligibility for certification Previous experience working with students with a range of disabilities is highly valued Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction Ability to adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs Organizational skills and flexibility to work in a dynamic educational settingKey Responsibilities:
