Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Ignite positive change in students' lives by providing dedicated support as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or a related field Active South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) teaching license in special education (Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities preferred) Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills Problem-solving mindset, flexibility, and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
