Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in San Andreas, CA. This full-time role focuses on supporting high school students within a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) setting, managing a caseload of up to 28 students. The position requires expertise in both push-in and pull-out instructional methods and strong experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs. Collaborating with general education teachers to support student success. Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional plans as necessary. Engaging actively in IEP meetings and ensuring compliance with all special education regulations.
Qualifications:
Active California mild/moderate credential in Special Education is mandatory. Proven experience working with high school students in RSP settings. Ability to effectively implement push-in and pull-out services. Strong organizational and communication skills, especially regarding IEP documentation and collaboration with staff and families.
