Nexus Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year ! Join a supportive district in the scenic Green Mountains of Wilmington, VT , and make a lasting impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Pay:
Up to $55/hour
Hours:
37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Contract Length:
2026-2027 school year
Candidate Type:
Local or Travel (Stipends available for eligible travelers) Requirements Vermont State Special Education Teaching Endorsement (or eligibility for licensure). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited program. Proven ability to differentiate instruction and manage classroom environments effectively. Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, therapists, and administration. Job Overview Nexus Therapy, an American Medical Staffing (AMS) company, is now hiring for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will be working in a community-oriented school district in Southern Vermont, providing specialized instruction and advocacy for students with IEPs. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be the cornerstone of student progress. Your role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), conducting progress monitoring, and adapting curriculum to meet the unique learning styles of your students.
