Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This full-time position supports middle school students and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact through the entire academic year, beginning August 2026 and running through June 2027.
What You'll Bring:
Active certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working within a school environment, preferably with middle school students Strong knowledge of special education law, compliance requirements, and best practices Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environmentKey Responsibilities:
Manage a middle school special education caseload Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success Conduct assessments and gather data to monitor progress and adjust interventions Develop and implement tailored instructional strategies and behavior management plans Maintain accurate, up-to-date IEPs and participate in IEP meetings Act as an advocate for students, ensuring equitable access to educational resources Engage families and caregivers in the educational process This is a great prospect for educators ready to make a consistent impact during the school year.
