Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity working as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position spans August 2026 through June 2027, with weekly scheduling between 32 and 37.5 hours, offering a rewarding chance to make a lasting difference in middle school students' lives. Your primary responsibility will be managing a middle school special education caseload, supporting unique learning needs, and developing individualized education plans. Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and case management Ability to implement differentiated instructional strategies Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
