Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available for a contract role in the Allendale, MI area, serving early childhood through kindergarten students with cognitive impairments. This opportunity is ideal for a certified special education professional looking to support a focused caseload within a dynamic school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification in Cognitive Impairments required Experience working with early childhood and kindergarten students Strong knowledge of IEP development, updates, and management Ability to attend and actively participate in IEP meetings Leadership skills to manage caseload and collaborate with lead teaching staff
Location:
Allendale, Michigan Work Schedule and Duration:
Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Contract dates: May 18th through June, with return August through
October Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with cognitive impairments within early childhood to kindergarten age range Develop, update, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Case manage assigned students to monitor and support their educational progress Support lead teacher with additional administrative and instructional duties as needed
