Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Take your passion for supporting diverse learners to the next level in Easton for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract role will immerse you in a vibrant, student-centered environment where you'll work hand-in-hand with general education teachers to guide middle and high school students toward academic and personal growth. Your day-to-day will involve shaping the educational experience of approximately 10-15 students who present a range of needs—including Other Health Impairments, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments. Through a collaborative co-teaching model that emphasizes both push-in and pull-out services, you'll deliver specially designed instruction in inclusive classrooms, helping each student access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to specific student needs Offer targeted instructional support and modify lessons when necessary Work closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families to build cohesive support networks Track student progress, document intervention outcomes, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates individuality and growth
